Easy access

 

Rennes is two and a quarter hours by TGV train from Paris Montparnasse station. Brest and Quimper are about four and a half hours from Paris by train.

By road, Rennes is 350 km from Paris, Saint-Brieuc 450 km, Lorient 500 km and Brest 590 km.

Rennes, Brest, Quimper, Lorient and Lannion airports have daily connections with Paris. Some airports have direct flights to Ireland, the UK, Spain, Italy etc.

 

Getting to Brittany by train

Rennes is currently two and a quarter hours from Paris Montparnasse station via TGV train. Saint-Malo and Saint-Brieuc are three hours from Paris, Lorient four hours and Brest and Quimper about four and a half hours.

 

Getting to Brittany by road

Brittany is served by two principal motorways : the ‘Autoroute des Estuaires’ and the ‘Autoroute Océane’. The network of dual carriageways in Brittany is completely toll-free. Rennes is 350 km from Paris, Saint-Malo 400 km, Saint-Brieuc 450 km, Lorient 500 km, Quimper 560 km and Brest 590 km.

 

Getting to Brittany by air

The airports of Rennes, Brest, Lorient, Lannion and Quimper have daily connections to Paris, and some have direct flights to Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Montpellier, Ireland, the UK, Spain, Italy etc.
Dinard Airport has daily flights to the UK.
