Brittany film locations

Brittany offers a range of exceptional film locations. Of course we can’t show you everything on this website, only give you a quick preview : more than 600 locations and some great photos to help you get to know our region and discover what we can offer.

Start with A taste of Brittany, then if you want to find out more about boats, airports, railway stations, the metro or trams etc., take a look at Transport.

The Built heritage tab takes you to 11 sections. In each one you’ll find 20 suggestions, spread throughout the region : Contemporary architecture, Bars and cafés, Public buildings, Châteaux, castles and forts, Culture and leisureHotels, Houses and apartments, Manor houses, Villas, Parks and gardens and Rural, industrial and military heritage.

In Brittany, Religious heritage is everywhere : there are nine cathedrals, several abbeys and thousands of churches and chapels. These are showcased in Cathedrals and abbeys, Chapels, Cemeteries and Churches.
Several Towns and villages are showcased in Villages and Small Towns of Character and Towns.

When you think of Brittany you think of the sea... but the region also has inland waterways. Everything linked to the sea or rivers is grouped under the Waterfront tab and showcased in seven sections : Rivers and lakes, Cliffs, Islands and peninsulas, Lighthouses, Beaches, Bridges and Ports.

Inland Brittany and its countryside offer some lesser-known treasures. To explore these, go to Beyond the towns, and take a look at Countryside, moors and forests, Paths, Hills and mountains, Menhirs and dolmens or Roads.

New suggestions for film locations are added throughout the year. Feel free to come back to these pages regularly !
